A new Look

Well I have to say I got a new look for the blog. If you are new here, then this is not a big deal to you, but to me it is HUGE!. I have to Thank Michelle @ Shabby Creations http://shabbycreations.blogspot.com/ for her fab work. If you are looking to spruce up your blog, get a whole look, add some cool buttons, then please check out her site. WOW this girl has the best pre-made blogs I have seen. She also does custome work as well. Her designs are so beautiful, she is great to work with and has a ton of patience for the dumb questions that I ask :)

The best part about this blog, is that now I am set up to sell my stuff on here.. So if you don't want to leave the blog to go to etsy, or don't have an etsy account, then you don't have too.
I will be stocking up on here tonight and tomorrow, so keep checking back.

Give Away #2

I decided to do another give away! I am going to try to do one a month or more.

It may not all be my things all the time, but this time it is. Here for you to win, is a great full size apron, in pretty pinks & greens.. Perfect for all your baking, cookikng needs to keep your clothes clean. They are all cotton, the ties wrap around so you can tie it in the front and they are washable and soft!. Missing

MISSING!
mother of three, a little crazy, realized she volunteered for way too many things at one time, house is a mess, seems to be living out of her van, does not seem to understand what a cooked meal is, is walking around with a notebook and pen in hand at all times, so she does not forget anything.. seems a little lost,
UPDATE:
I found her.. after school was out..
OK, so I was not really missing, but missing from here. And yes, my house is a mess, I am not ready for summer yet.. We have been living in the van going to a ton of make up games for baseball and softball. We have been living on fast food, well not everyday but more than two times a week is way too much for me. How many Wendy's Cheeseburgers can you really eat in a week? And yes, I have a notebook in my purse all the time because I have that sudden "Oh my Gosh, was I suppose to be there, or take this there" moments way to many times, so the notebook is my new BFF.
The month of May I had way too much going on, but now that school is out, (yea) I am in the process of getting a blog make over and making my blog work like a website. I am cleaning up my house, cleaing out my van and just trying to get into summer mode.
Tomorrow morning I will be having a give away, so be sure to check back and this time I mean it!
Hope you all are glad school is out and you can relax a little too. Why do we moms always say yes to everything, and then wonder why the house is a mess, the car is a mess and that we should of had a dye job on our hair about two weeks ago, and we never have enough time in the day to get it done?
Because we are female, is the only answer I came up with, what is yours?

Flea Market Weekend

Fun Flea Market Weekend

Well it was a busy weekend with make up games for all three kids and I did manage to get a flea market trip in too. This is a picture of one of two sconces I got, and I think I will keep for now, lol.. I love them and all their glam!

This is the biggest hanging basket I have ever seen, that I just had to have. It was $25.00 ad the thing is HUGE and BEUTIFUL! Loving this too.

Some wonderful barkcloth that will be on ebay later this afternoon, along with a few more pieces.

And the Best French Copper & Brass Phone a gal could want! And it works too. This beauty will also be on ebay later this evening.

Big Brothers are the BEST!

I never had a big brother growing up, I am the oldest and I only had a very pesty little brother. He is not that bad now, but he use to be! So when my Carly was at her game last night and was told she was going in at catcher, which is her brother's position on his team, she was excited. She of coarse had a little trouble getting the equipment on..

"Mom do you think you could put the camera down, and help me?"

Not to worry, Thankfully "Big Brother" was in the stands and ran over to help, without being asked, and I was able to document this!

Busy, Busy, Busy

First off, Happy Mothers Day to all. Boy I have been super busy the past few weeks. It seems it all the things you volunteer for, just come at one time, or one right after another and you can hardly come up for air.

So what has been happening.. I turned 40 on April 27th, These are kids all dressed up to take mom to dinner.

We have a new Star in the family, Carly. She had her Third grade musical and it was very cute!

Here is the whole third grade singing. They had a great time and our music teacher is the best!

I have been sewing like crazy.. Had an art show.. Here are few things I had for the show.

One of the stands my husband made me to hang my purses off. He did a great job!

I have a totally new respect for anyone who does art/craft shows..WOW is that a lot of work. Not only just making it all, which you need to start like a year ahead if your name is Mechelle, and you have a problem saying NO to volunteering!, lol..But just the set up, and all the things you need. I have never done a show before and had NO idea what I was doing. I have a few good friends who did help me, Corie I would of been lost without your support :) Thank you! You are the best!!!!!! But I had a great time, and I will so do it again. I have learned that Crafters are nice people! They want to share and help out and I made some wonderful new friends too. It was a great day.

Here a few purses I did.. I love SIS BOOM fabric and think it makes everything you sew, look so pretty! So I used a lot of this fabric and boy ole boy did I get a lot of compliments on the fabrics. Thanks Jennifer, your fabrics are the best!

A very good friend of mine, Emily, came to the show with her girls and they worked my booth so I could get out for a while. I love walking around at shows, but when you working one, you can't do this, unless you think to have someone help you.. Yes, that was added to my list of things to do and change. But look at this great thing I got for my garden.

All these items were made from glass bowls, cups, plates.. and I mean they are BEAUTIFUL and boy do they sparkle in the garden. I wanted it all.. but settled for the red one for my yard.. Very afordable at $12.00 I love them all.

Are these wonderful or what? I had a sweet girl come into my tent and tell me she heard someone was up the way with the same kind of fabrics she had on her buckets, but done in purses and arpons. Well that was me, lol.. Anyway when I wondered out for a while, I found her tent and WOW, beautiful tins all covered in the best fabrics.. How can this not make you smile? And pretty your things will be in these.

yes, I had to get a few.. Love them!

And one of my favorites, are these cute and adorable coffee scoops.. Are these great or what? They really are one of a kind and lucky me I got one for Mother's Day!

So this is what I have been doing.. We also just had a flower sale for our school all weekend, and I co-chair that with a few other moms and that also took up a lot of time.. but I am back to blog on a regular basis! Here I am

Well my first art show is over and it was a BLAST! I had way too much fun.. met some wonderful talented people out there!

I am totally exhausted.. I have a flower sale going on at school this week and it will be over on Saturday.. I will post pictures from the in the morning and show off some new things I found at the show.. I also will be doing more GIVEAWAYS! So stay tuned!

I had no idea how much work went into doing a show.. You ladies who do this all the time, WOW my hat is off to you! I am a rookie at this and will welcome any help I can get,.
